UNKNOWN FACTS ABOUT THE ARMED ACTIVITIES OF THE ISLAMIC PARTY OF IRAQ
I found out interesting details about the military activities of members of the Iraqi Muslim Brotherhood with the help of two Iraqi sources *. The struggle of the armed wing of the Ikhwan of Iraq was directed against the NATO occupiers and takfiris. I note that due to its local nature (armed units worked in a specific area), the militant faction quickly became marginalized, which led to the disappearance of the "Sunni resistance" project. The armed activity of the members of the "Iraqi Islamic Party" quickly exhausted itself, as relying on their own forces, rejected the support of Iran and Syria. Because of this, the Iraqi Ikhwan resistance group ceased to exist for a long time, until the emergence of a new threat (DAESH). The Islamic Party has made the mistake of ending the holy war against imperialism. In the future, it will become clear that the organization simply cannot defend itself against the threat of takfiris and jihadists.
Another mistake of the Islamic Party was the acceptance of the proposal of the American game called “democratic elections”. In 2005, the process of liquidating the authoritative organization began as soon as the Ikhwans went to the elections. So, 30 days after the elections, a terrorist attack took place in the Ash-Shula region of the city of Baghdad. The Takfiris claimed responsibility for this, and we saw the typical double play of the West. On the one hand, they propose a game of “liberal democracy with fair elections,” on the other hand, through agents they incite local forces against the “newly made democrats” under the slogan “kill the lost”, that is, those who have adopted the same “rules of the liberal electoral procedure”. The goal of this game is to sow discord and civil strife within the Sunni part of Iraq. The West's desire to destroy the Islamic Party of Iraq was dictated by revenge for the initial presence in the ranks of local resistance of representatives of the party and the idea of fighting Iran's allies. Ending the jihad against NATO and joining the “democratic process of resolving the situation” almost ended in the elimination of the only Sunni party in Iraq.
As for the fight against ISIS, there is little information about the specific activities of the Ikhwan, only about the partisan struggle in Anbar. By the way, the partisans were eventually disbanded by the leadership of the party and for some reason were not accepted into the People's Militia of Iraq.
P.S. The armed activities of the Iraqi Ikhwans demonstrated an extremely close relationship between the occupiers and the Takfiris, aimed at marginalizing the Sunni resistance and civil strife among various ideological components of the Sunni part of Iraq. After all, the founder of the Ikhwan militant faction was killed by terrorists from the "Islamic State of Iraq" (banned in the Russian Federation) - the predecessor of ISIS. It should be recalled here that the takfirists were created by the military intelligence services of Britain, the United States, the Zionists, local Baathists and a number of special services of the Arab regimes. That is, we see close cooperation between radical takfirists and Western agents on the issue of removing an influential political party from the Sunni part.
* - Officials of the Sunni provinces confirm the presence of Iraqi Ikhwan in the ranks of the resistance to the occupiers. For example, a former representative of the governorate of Nineveh.
The Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Russia. The Iraqi Ikhwans do not depend on the international line of the Brotherhood.
ISIS and its predecessors and branches are banned in the Russian Federation.
