Panamanian prosecutors have raided the offices of Mossack Fonseca. Mossack Fonseca founders Ramón Fonseca Mora and Jürgen Mossak have been detained.
“Raid of offices of law firm that created limited liability companies in Brazil linked to #LavaJato #PanamaPapers,” the attorney general’s office reported.
The Panama Papers stolen from Mossack Fonseca and leaked in April 2016, provoked a real global scandal. These documents confirmed using offshore corporations by the rich to avoid paying taxes.
