UN envoy announces suspension of Yemeni consultations

UN envoy Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed announced that he would suspend peace negotiations between the parties in Yemenis, then resume them later,  saying that he will hold a final session on Saturday along with an official statement to confirm the points that have been reached.

For their part, the government delegation  to Kuwait returned  after adjourning for a few days, to attend the closing session.

Separately, a senior political source confirmed that preparations are underway in Sanaa to declare the Supreme Political Council early next week.
The source pointed out that the leadership of the GPC, and the movement of "Ansar Allah", approved the final list of members of the political council of ten people, which will be established within the next seventy-two hours.
