Concerning the topic of the conference – multipolarity, I think, from our point of view of middle size European countries somewhere in the center of Europe, it is reasonable to talk about the new reality, the new reality of multipolar world which is shaping. I guess the Russian special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, the Russia-NATO conflict at the moment being; will make our livings become more faster when it comes to geopolitics.

It is back in 1989 that the American thinker Francis Fukuyama, perhaps unknowingly became the first to predict the demise of the "unipolar world”. In his essay "The End of History?" he triumphantly said that the spread of American-style liberal democracy throughout the world would bring about the common good, and would signal that the mankind has achieved the end point in its sociocultural evolution.

For centuries our land has experienced the advantages of its position: being the junction, the center of the famous trade route "from the Varangians to the Greeks", which was beneficial for the development of commerce and the dialogue of cultures.
