Explosion in Antalya

Several people were injured as a result of the explosion in the city of Antalya. The burst ripped through a parking lot near the Chamber of Commerce building.

Police confirms to take «extensive security measures» after the explosion damaged up to four cars and shattered glass inside the building, a few kilometers from the airport.

Antalya is well-known to be a major tourism destination for Turkey, which has seen a sharp drop in visitors following the spate of violent attacks. Earlier this month three rockets were fired to hit a fishing company depot near Antalya.
