President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach announced the conclusion of the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The flag of the International Olympic Committee was officially handed over to Tokyo, the city where the next Summer Olympic Games will be held in 2020.

Since immunity does not apply to athletes, they could face jail time for perjury.
