Protests continue in South Korea

In the center of Seoul mass protests are held. More than 550,000 people demand to arrest President Park Geun-hye.
These protests are carried out every weekend. They have not been stopped even after Parliament’s decision to start impeachment President.

This time, protesters are dressed as Santa Claus, giving gifts to children, chanting “Gifts are for children, handcuffs for Park Geun-hye”.

As one protester commented on this event: “This is a special Christmas Eve as it gives me a chance to show my children what democracy is all about”.
