Syrian jets pound ISIS across Deir Ezzur
Syrian army jets, in incessant operations during the past 24 hours, inflicted heavy loss and damage on ISIS Takfiri terrorists across the Eastern Deir Ezzur province.
The Syrian airstrikes targeted ISIL hideouts and centerpoints in al-Baqaliyeh village, West of Deir Ezzur city, Killing dozens of militants and destroying their military hardware including a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.
The Syrian army air force also destroyed several ISIS gatherings and their machine-gun mounted pick-up trucks during the aerial operations over the Western areas near Deir Ezzur military airport and in the village of al-Meri’eiyeh.
Earlier on Monday in a significant development, the Syrian army destroyed the military positions of the ISIL terrorist group in Deir Ezzur province, killing tens of terrorists, including senior commanders, in heavy clashes.
At least 71 militants were killed and 81 others were injured in the Syrian army's attacks in al-Hamidiyeh, al-Aradi and al-Roshdiyeh neighborhoods of Deir Ezzur city.
An ISIS commander with Libyan nationality nicknamed Abu Islam al-Baghdadi and five of his deputies were among the terrorists killed in al-Hamidiyeh neighborhood.
