Against profane technology and pathological progressivism

The myth of progress, derived from the unfortunate theories born of the Enlightenment, saw the passage of time as the cause of continuous improvement in the human condition. The traditional doctrine of the four ages, on the contrary, speaks of a slow and inexorable decline linked to the unfolding of the cosmic cycle. Recent history demonstrates the validity of the Traditional view. In the dark age of Kali Yuga or the Iron Age, in fact, progress is only technological. Technology, far from techné, gift of the gods, is now a profane force. It slowly poisons human life, increasingly devoid of transcendent values.
The season of terminal capitalism
The instability and compulsive movement of pathological progressivism cause the agitation, anxiety and frenzy characteristic of times of dissolution. The frenzied travelling of uprooted contemporaries to look without seeing, without any connection to their place of origin. They no longer know where they are going to discover where they are going, rushing in the few moments left free from the slavery of work, forgetting life in order to produce what is needed to survive. The fanatics of progress have forgotten personal space, lineage, family and ancestors, which has led to the disappearance of the Genius loci, the link with the land of their fathers.
In the season of terminal capitalism, time is money. No longer a dimension of the sacred, the cyclical passing of days and seasons, harmony between man and the cosmos. The Pleasure Principle that possesses progressives pushes for the immediate gratification of every desire and impulse, without rules or discipline. Everything and immediately, without sacrifice.
The disappearance of diversity
The great moral decline of brutality, weakness and falsehood is the product of the nihilism of recent times, disguised as unstoppable progress. The individualism that has destroyed the spirit of community generates bourgeois conformism, and the unavoidable drive to accumulate unleashes the lowest form of selfishness. The crisis of the modern world, enslaved by the myth of progress, is caused by the breaking down of limits. Everything becomes uniform and confused, sinking into formlessness. Limits identify and confer the perception of the self, separating us from others by defining the person, just as walls divide space, making it known to men. Eliminating limits generates the confusion characteristic of chaotic progress.
Children build castles with sand, not skyscrapers and supermarkets. These are archetypes present in the collective unconscious, eternal symbols made of thick walls that protect and divide. Without boundaries, roots disappear, throwing human beings into chaos. Everything resembles everything else, theEgalité of the French Revolution, absent in nature, causes the disappearance of diversity.
Profane technology and the uniform world
Progressive thinking wants a single currency and a single language, a single mentality. The poisoned fruit of revealed religions that stifled the imagination and sensitivity of polytheism. The plurality of gods, rituals and folklore respected the deep feelings of the different European peoples with their traditions: Greco-Roman, Celtic, Norse and Germanic. None considered the other heretical and would never have claimed to be the only and universal one and to suffocate in blood the freedom to honour their own gods.
The nurturing society of one-dimensional man is the only one in history based on profit and economics. The obsessive accumulation of capital is experienced as a remedy for the fear of death. A uniform world without limits or boundaries. Without peoples, inhabited by formless beings, where everything runs fast, where roots are severed and an impossible balance is sought in agitation.
Nihilism is the denial of being, the death of values, producing alienation and psychological suffering, pervaded by Thanatos, the death drive. A drive towards self-destruction, towards death, unleashing aggression and liberating the basest instincts. Hatred and anger towards political opponents, who become enemies, hide a fear of consistency and envy of courage.
